Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld | Menu & Opening Hours

The Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld is much more than a classic inn: it combines historic castle architecture, Bavarian hospitality, and a cuisine that consciously focuses on regional roots and honest quality. Visitors to the location experience not just a restaurant, but a place with character, where the castle courtyard, vaults, beer garden, and event rooms come together to create a harmonious whole. The historic backdrop shapes the first impression, but the focus is on modern Bavarian cuisine, the house's own Graf-Toerring beer, and the opportunity to not only dine but also celebrate, linger, and host special occasions. This blend makes the Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld particularly interesting for guests from Seefeld, the surrounding area, and for excursions in the region. The location is suitable for spontaneous visits, planned family celebrations, small gatherings in the stüberl, and larger parties with up to 150 people. Opening Hours and Reservations at Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld

For many guests, planning begins with the simple question of opening hours, and this is where the official website provides the most important answers. The Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld is open on Mondays from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, from Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Tuesday and Wednesday are rest days. The house is open on public holidays. Additionally, the current menu states kitchen hours until 9:00 PM and explicitly mentions that events are possible upon request. So, anyone planning an evening at the castle, a long lunch on the weekend, or a gathering on a public holiday can refer to these times. For those specifically searching for the keyword opening hours, it is also important that the information appears in several places on the website in a similar manner, which underscores the reliability of the information. At the same time, the team recommends direct contact for last-minute reservations, as reservations for the same day are only possible by phone. This keeps the organization simple, personal, and close to the practice of a real family business. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/))

This reliability in everyday life is particularly valuable for a location with a high proportion of regular guests. The Bräustüberl is not designed for distance or complicated booking processes, but for direct contact. The official site explicitly states that inquiries and reservations should be arranged by phone or email. This is practical for guests who are looking for a table spontaneously, for groups planning a celebration, and for organizers who want to coordinate the availability of certain rooms. The same logic applies to public holidays and events: instead of rigid standard communication, there is personal support from the team. This allows the location to adapt to different needs without losing its traditional character. Those looking for a quick meal benefit from the clear opening hours. Those with a larger event in mind can plan early and receive the necessary information through direct contact with the house. This service mentality is one of the reasons why the Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld is perceived not only as a restaurant but also as a reliable event address. Menu, Cuisine, and Drinks at the Historic Bräustüberl

The menu of the Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld clearly shows what the house stands for culinary-wise: Bavarian cuisine, regional specialties, and a selection that combines classic inn dishes with seasonal ideas. The menu features small delicacies like O’batzter, potato pockets, smoked salmon on potato pancakes, hearty dishes like calf's lungs, pretzel dumplings in onion-burgundy sauce, meat patties in mushroom cream, liver dumplings, Franconian sausages, and many other classics. Additionally, there are soups, salads, fish dishes, desserts, snacks, and vegetarian or vegan options. This is important for the search intent around the menu, as the location caters not only to the hunger for a single specialty but also to the expectations of different groups. Whether hearty, light, meat-focused, vegetarian, or seasonal: the menu is broad enough to cover various preferences without appearing arbitrary. Furthermore, the kitchen consciously focuses on products and traditional preparations, preserving the character of a down-to-earth inn. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/wp-content/uploads/Speisenkarte-1-1.pdf))

Especially notable is the connection between tradition and adaptability. The official website promises Bavarian specialties and regional delicacies made with selected ingredients, complemented by seasonal dishes like asparagus, chanterelles, and fresh summer salads. At the same time, there are theme weeks like Franconian weeks as well as events featuring specialties from around the world. The menu is also available in English and French, and there is a separate menu for children. This makes the location not only family-friendly but also accessible for international guests or mixed groups. The current menu also points out that many dishes can be prepared gluten- or lactose-free, provided minor adjustments are possible. So, anyone looking for a location with classic Bavarian cuisine but who does not want to be restricted by diet or language will find a surprisingly flexible solution here. It is also worth mentioning the house's own Graf-Toerring beer, which is part of the culinary profile of the house and underscores the connection to the castle's history. Thus, the menu becomes more than just a sheet of dishes: it is part of the identity of the Bräustüberl. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/))

History and Atmosphere in the Castle Vault

The special charm of the Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld lies in its historic surroundings. The official website describes the inn as a place in centuries-old rooms of the castle, where the famous Graf-Toerring beer was once brewed. Today, the gastronomic couple Ursula and Roland Hartmann run the family business there. Particularly defining is the original brewing kettle of the former malt house, which has been preserved in the vault. These are not decorative details without substance, but real architectural and historical elements that give the location its depth. Those sitting here do not simply experience a beautifully furnished restaurant, but a space where the past of the place remains visible and is translated into the present. The term castle vault is therefore not just an SEO keyword but very specifically describes the character of the rooms. Between massive walls, historic structures, and a warm inn atmosphere, an ambiance is created that consciously focuses on coziness, personality, and tranquility. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/))

The historic backdrop does not end at the interior. The castle grounds themselves also shape the impression of the visit. Schloss Seefeld is described in the community's history as a place with a long past; within the inner courtyard lie spacious agricultural buildings, including the former brewery with Bräustüberl and brewing house, which was reportedly built around 1732. The castle complex includes other historic structures and is today a diversely used ensemble. On the grounds, alongside gastronomy, there are also crafts, tasteful fashion, jewelry, and a cinema. The Bräustüberl is thus part of a lively castle site where historical substance and contemporary use coexist. For guests, this means: a visit can be well combined with a walk around the grounds, a cinema evening, or a detour to the other offerings. Especially for those looking for photos, information, and history, this context is important as it explains why the location is so often described as charming, special, and unique. Rooms for Celebrations, Weddings, and Groups

The Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld is not only a place for spontaneous restaurant visits but also explicitly an event location. The official website offers various rooms that are suitable for celebrations of different sizes. These include the Toerring-Stüberl for up to 60 people, the Minucci-Stüberl for up to 30 people, the Canossa-Stüberl for up to 15 people, and the large restaurant area Bräustüberl with celebration options for up to 150 people. Additionally, the beer garden can also be used for celebrations. For inquiries regarding rooms, celebrations, and event planning, this is a strong signal: the location is not limited to a single hall but offers graduated options from small private gatherings to larger festivities. The rooms are anchored in a historic ambiance, which creates additional appeal, especially for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and family occasions. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/))

It is also noteworthy how comprehensive the planning is considered. The website mentions festive menus, buffets, and complete event planning from a single source. The team also supports with floral decorations, wedding carriages, photographers, wedding doves, and musical entertainment upon request. This list shows that the location does not just rent out rooms but actively assists in the execution of celebrations. This is an important advantage for couples or groups looking for a historic backdrop but do not want the stress of dealing with numerous service providers. Gift vouchers starting from 10 euros are also offered, making the address additionally interesting as a gift and experience location. The combination of room offerings, catering, personal support, and atmospheric castle vault makes the Bräustüberl a credible address for celebrations with character. So, anyone searching for castle seefeld bräustüberl rooms or castle seefeld celebrations will find clear information and a surprisingly flexible structure here. Directions and Parking at Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld

For a location in the castle environment, directions and parking play a central role, and here too, the official Schloss-Seefeld site provides concrete information. The site can be reached by public transport via the S-Bahn line 5 towards Herrsching; from the Seefeld-Hechendorf station, it is about a 15-minute walk. For drivers, the site mentions the A96 towards Lindau, the Oberpfaffenhofen exit, and further travel towards Herrsching and at the second traffic light in Seefeld, turn left. These hints are helpful not only for day visitors but also for event attendees who need a festive arrival or good planning. Those searching for the combination of directions, parking, and public transport receive solid orientation. The information also shows that the location is well integrated into traffic and is suitable for guests who do not wish to arrive exclusively by car. ([schloss-seefeld.com](https://schloss-seefeld.com/html/anfahrtsplan.html))

Particularly relevant is the parking situation on-site. According to the directions plan, two large visitor parking lots are available, and there are also disabled parking spaces directly in front of the historic castle bridge. This is a very practical detail for a castle site, as it reduces uncertainty when arriving with multiple people or at events with many guests. For the search intent bräustüberl schloss seefeld parking, this information is one of the most important facts overall, as it lowers the barrier for a visit. The accessibility-related note is also valuable, as it shows that the grounds take into account different mobility needs. In conjunction with the walkable distance from the station, this creates a rare good mix: castle atmosphere without complete seclusion. So, anyone wondering how the location practically works can rely on clear, official information for both train and car travelers. Current Events and the Castle Environment

The Bräustüberl Schloss Seefeld thrives not only on its past but also on an active program and a diverse environment. The official website mentions musical theme weeks, Franconian weeks, and events with specialties from around the world. In the beer garden, strong beer festivals, jazz brunches, and varied musical highlights create atmosphere. Additionally, it is noted that events are possible upon request. For those searching for upcoming events, a current date is particularly interesting: the website announces a brunch on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM with free beer & chicken, free entry, and Caribbean rhythms, jazz, and blues. This shows that the location is not just a static gastronomy but a place with concrete, time-planned experiences throughout the year. ([braeustueberl-seefeld.de](https://braeustueberl-seefeld.de/))

The castle environment further enhances this effect. According to the Schloss-Seefeld site, the Bräustüberl is part of an ensemble where, alongside gastronomy, crafts, fashion, jewelry, and a cinema are located. This makes the place interesting for different target groups, as a visit can be culinary, cultural, and creative at the same time. For those looking for photos or information, this is helpful as it explains the atmosphere of the place: not isolated, but embedded in a lively area with various offerings. The community of Seefeld also refers in its history to Schloss Seefeld as an important place with centuries-old substance and to the former brewery with Bräustüberl and brewing house as part of the historical economic area. This creates a picture that combines historical depth with contemporary use. Exactly therein lies the strength of this location: it is not just a restaurant but a castle site with gastronomy, events, and real stories. Very good quality Bavarian food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and it feels like a Bavarian place should. The portions were big but thankfully the waiter told us that we should order less for the kids, which was great. Highly recommended, and we will be going back.
