bosco Gauting | Events & Tickets 2026
The bosco, Citizens' and Cultural House Gauting, is much more than just a stage for individual evenings. It is a versatile cultural venue, an event house with a clear structure, a meeting place for audiences, clubs, companies, and private individuals, and at the same time a house with a long local history. The owner is the municipality of Gauting, and the ongoing operation is managed by the Theaterforum Gauting e.V., which consolidates bookings, ticket sales, rentals, and many organizational processes in the theater office. This mix of municipal anchoring, professional event management, and open usage makes the bosco one of the most prominent addresses for culture in the Würmtal. The house is located at Oberer Kirchenweg 1 in Gauting and combines cultural programs, rentals, services, and visitor-friendliness in a compact space. Those looking for bosco Gauting events, tickets, or directions will find a place suitable for concerts, cabaret, theater, film, lectures, private celebrations, and conferences alike. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/kontakt))
Events and Program at bosco Gauting
The current program overview of the bosco clearly shows how broad the house's offerings are. The page categorizes the offerings into sections such as exhibitions, discussions, film, home games, jazz, cabaret, children, classical music, literature, music, theater, others, dance theater, Vielklang, and lectures. This makes it immediately visible that not only a single art form is cultivated here, but a consciously diverse cultural mix that brings together different target groups. The current program features ongoing series, thematic focuses, and individual evenings that range from literary formats to music to discussion series. Particularly noteworthy is that the bosco not only offers events for a classical concert or theater audience but also programs for families, schools, exhibitions, and thematic series. Therefore, those searching for bosco Gauting program or bosco Gauting events are typically looking for a place with a real annual program rather than isolated dates. The official program page provides exactly that with a clear sorting and a high thematic density. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/programm))
The content also reflects the diversity of the house in the program structure itself: In 2026, the bosco will present exhibitions, films as part of the Kino Breitwand, literary evenings, classical concerts, discussions, jazz, Vielklang evenings, cabaret, children's events, and theater. Additionally, recurring formats such as the senior café of the municipality of Gauting or discussion series open the venue beyond pure stage operations into the everyday life of the community. This breadth is important for the search intent behind terms like bosco gauting program or bosco gauting events, as users often seek not just a date but a complete overview page where they can quickly recognize what type of culture they can expect. The bosco meets this expectation with a program that currently makes visible the months of March to October 2026 and also refers to the annual program 2025/26. The location thus positions itself as a continuously active cultural house that systematically connects different sections throughout the season. Tickets, Advance Sales, and Box Office
Those looking for bosco Gauting tickets or bosco Gauting cards will find themselves on the official ordering page of the house with exactly the information needed for secure planning. Tickets are available through the theater office in the bosco, as well as through the bosco webshop at Reservix and at general Reservix advance sales points. The theater office is, among other things, the central contact point for subscriptions, ticket information, and organizational questions. The opening hours are clearly regulated: Tuesday to Friday in the mornings, additionally on Thursday and Friday afternoons, and Saturday mornings. This is important for visitors because it makes booking manageable even if one does not want to buy exclusively online. For many users, the question of when the box office opens is also relevant. The bosco provides a concrete and practical rule here: The box office opens 30 minutes before the event starts. Reserved tickets must be picked up at the latest 15 minutes before the start. Such details are often decisive in the context of bosco Gauting box office because they simplify travel and entry planning. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/kartenbestellung))
Additionally, the bosco offers a clear pricing and service logic that is relevant for different target groups. Young people up to and including 25 years receive reduced admission prices, for Gauting residents with low income, there are social tickets for 5 euros, and for kindergartens, children's groups, school classes, and school-organized groups, tickets are available for 8 euros. Those who regularly attend events can also inquire about subscriptions that offer secure seats and a price advantage over single tickets. For sold-out events, the bosco maintains a waiting list, and ticket returns are generally not possible, although the theater office seeks solutions in special cases. These points are particularly important for search queries like bosco gauting tickets, bosco gauting cards, and bosco gauting reservix because they not only explain the purchase channel but also the practices surrounding discounts, waiting lists, and processing. This creates a ticket offer that remains comprehensible for both spontaneous visitors and planners, families, groups, and regular guests. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/information))
Directions and Parking at bosco Gauting
For bosco Gauting directions and bosco Gauting parking, the official contact page provides very concrete information that significantly simplifies the visit. The house is located in Gauting at Oberer Kirchenweg 1 and is about a 5-minute walk from the Gauting S-Bahn station on line S6. Additionally, the bus stop Gauting-Rathaus is about 150 meters away. This makes the bosco attractive not only for drivers but also for visitors using public transport. Especially in a municipality like Gauting, this short-distance situation is a real advantage, as one only has a very manageable walk after getting off the train or bus. The official page also recommends a route planner for directions, which is helpful for first-time visitors. When selecting a location for events, concerts, or conferences, people often first ask about accessibility, and this is where the bosco scores with a compact location in the town center. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/kontakt))
Parking is also consciously organized to be visitor-friendly. Visitors can park in the large parking lot directly in front of the house. Additionally, the underground garage of the municipality of Gauting, with an entrance on Schulstraße, is available, which is open daily until midnight. This is especially relevant when an evening event ends later or when traveling with multiple people and needing a reliable parking space. Bicycle racks are located directly next to the large parking lot, making the bosco interesting for people who consciously choose to travel in an environmentally friendly manner. Those searching for bosco Gauting parking usually expect a quick, clear answer without detours. The house provides exactly that: short walk from the train station, parking spaces on site, additional underground garage, and bicycle parking. For events with public traffic, this infrastructure is an important part of the overall impression, as it allows for a relaxed and structured start to the evening even before the actual beginning. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/kontakt))
Rooms, Floor Plan, and Capacity
The bosco Gauting is an interesting venue because it offers not only a stage but also several clearly defined rooms with different sizes and usage profiles. The large hall, the bosco in the narrower sense, has about 250 square meters and is designed for very different event formats. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can accommodate up to 296 people in rows, 256 in bistro seating, 243 at tables, or 127 in cinema seating on the grandstand; unseated, the room can hold up to 400 people. This flexibility is particularly relevant for search queries like bosco Gauting floor plan, bosco Gauting large hall, and bosco Gauting capacity, as it shows that the house can be used for everything from a classical concert evening to gala dinners, balls, seminars, staff meetings, or conferences. The official room page explicitly states this and also refers to the technical equipment in the large hall as well as the tariff and fee regulations. It is also important for organizers that the rooms can be used until 11 PM. Thus, the bosco is not only culture-oriented but also practical and planable for business events and private formats. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/raeumlichkeiten))
The room offering also includes the boschetto, the smaller hall in the basement with about 74 square meters. It is used for exhibitions, information events, lectures, seminars, workshops, orchestra rehearsals, and private celebrations. The capacity here is up to 150 people unseated, 70 people in row seating, 30 people in seminar seating, and 20 people in U-shape. The ensemble is complemented by the bar rosso, which is open one hour before and after the event and can also be used as an event space. Café seating for up to 40 people and literature seating for up to 70 people is possible there. This is an important added value for bosco Gauting boschetto or bosco Gauting bar rosso, as it provides not only a single hall but several atmospherically different areas. The house thus offers a room logic that supports both large audience formats and smaller, focused, and intimate event situations. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/raeumlichkeiten))
Accessibility, Service, and Visitor Comfort
The bosco Gauting focuses on several clearly communicated measures for accessibility. All event rooms are accessible without steps, the upper floor is accessible by elevator, and there are two accessible parking spaces and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. For guests who rely on assistance dogs, the dogs are welcome at all events. This information is not a minor detail for bosco Gauting accessibility but a central part of the house as a public cultural venue. It is also particularly important to note the hearing support system in the large hall. It can be used with headphones or an induction loop and is available for amplified events in the large hall, typically for theater, cabaret, jazz, and Vielklang. Those wishing to use these offers should report to the entrance at least 15 minutes before the start. This shows that the house does not reduce accessible use to just building standards but also to concrete service processes. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/barrierefreiheit))
Furthermore, additional service points facilitate the visit. For events in the hall, wheelchair spaces are available in the parquet, which should be reserved in advance, as they may not be available at the box office. Guests with the B marker can book a free seat for their accompanying person when purchasing tickets. The bosco is also working to increasingly plan its events to be barrier-free and aims to offer inclusively designed formats with sign language and live audio description in the future. In parallel, the service around tickets, information, rentals, gastronomy, and technology ensures that the stay in the house is not only functional but also pleasantly organized. Those searching for bosco Gauting accessibility, bosco Gauting tickets, or bosco Gauting directions in combination thus get a picture of a house that takes both practical accessibility and cultural participation seriously. This mix of technology, service, and openness makes visiting the bosco uncomplicated and planable for many target groups. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/barrierefreiheit))
History of the bosco and Special Atmosphere
The history of the bosco officially begins on October 7, 2005, when the Citizens' and Cultural House of the municipality of Gauting was opened. It originated from the former Don-Bosco home of the Catholic parish, which was transformed into an appealing event house through a fundamental renovation. This origin is important for understanding the place because it explains why the bosco appears both familiar and modern: The building carries a local past within it but is clearly oriented towards contemporary cultural work. Three rooms were available from the beginning or during the development: the large hall, the small hall boschetto, and later the bar rosso, which was added in 2010 in the enlarged foyer. Even in the official historical presentation, it becomes clear that the large hall accommodates around 300 people, the smaller hall around 60, and the bar rosso for events up to 70 people. This development shows how a former home became a differentiated cultural house that is still used in various ways today. ([bosco-gauting.de](https://bosco-gauting.de/die-geschichte-des-bosco))
The special atmosphere of the house arises not only from its architectural structure but also from the program culture that has established itself since the opening. In the history of the bosco, numerous renowned artists from theater, jazz, cabaret, chamber music, literature, home games, children's theater, Vielklang, dance, and exhibitions are mentioned. Additionally, the current program pages continue this diversity and make it visible with the series of the annual program 2025/26 or 2026. Those searching for bosco Gauting history often look for a place that offers cultural continuity rather than just a space with a stage. The bosco fulfills exactly this expectation: It is locally rooted, technically well-equipped, spatially flexible, and broadly positioned in content. Therefore, the house is not just an address for individual evenings for many people but a fixed part of the cultural life in Gauting and the surrounding area. The connection of history, present, and open use makes the bosco a location that not only functions during events but also creates memories.
A very nice hall, suitable for many events. It has a beautiful entrance hall and leads upstairs to the foyer, where there's also a bar. The forecourt is also great for meeting up and taking photos. The red color of the building isn't a drawback; it creates a lovely atmosphere at night.
