When Life Asks the Best Questions: Hans Sigl Meets Mareile Höppner
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Groundlift Studio in the Old Brewery Stegen will become a vibrant stage for conversation. Hans Sigl welcomes the moderator Mareile Höppner to a live edition of Subject: Life – The Consultation with Hans Sigl. The focus will be on questions that go far beyond routine talk show moments: personal, surprising, and close to real life.
A Conversation Stage with Its Own Dramaturgy
The format follows an open dramaturgy. Hans Sigl guides a conversation about success, changes, courage, family, new beginnings, and those defining moments that give direction to a life. Mareile Höppner brings her experience as a moderator and observer of societal stories. This creates not a scripted question-and-answer game, but an immediate staging of the conversation.
Between Depth, Humor, and Spontaneous Twists
The atmosphere thrives on the interplay between reflective passages and pointed lightness. The stage design remains true to the character of the live podcast: The voices, glances, and reactions of the two conversation partners take center stage. The acoustics and intimacy of the Groundlift Studio create a theatrical atmosphere, where even small gestures and spontaneous ideas can resonate.
The Audience Becomes Part of the Consultation
A special role is assumed by the audience. The questions from the community form the dramaturgical framework of the format; afterwards, visitors will have the opportunity to ask their own questions. This creates an immediate stage experience that connects podcast, talk, and personal encounter.
An Afternoon for Curious People
Hans Sigl and Mareile Höppner discuss life paths, public perception, and the private experiences behind well-known roles. The event is aimed at everyone who appreciates smart entertainment, lively audience reactions, and honest conversations. Doors open at 2:30 PM, and the event lasts according to the event information until about 4:30 PM.
Conclusion: Subject: Life promises an inspiring afternoon full of personal insights, surprising perspectives, and genuine conversation moments.
