37th Citizen Shooting in Herrsching: Precision, Excitement and Lived Tradition
From November 19 to 21, 2026, the Sports Shooting Club D'Herrschinger Wildschütz'n invites you to the 37th Citizen Shooting in Herrsching. In the shooting hall on Mitterweg, sporting ambition, steady hands, and social interaction come together. Citizens, members of local clubs, and guests experience a traditional competition with a special atmosphere.
Every Shot Counts
At the shooting range, the concentrated moment decides. A stable stance, controlled breathing, and a precise trigger pull form the basis for a good series. Instead of quick moves, accuracy, strategy, and mental strength determine the competition here. The tense silence before the shot alternates with cheers from fans, conversations, and appreciative applause.
Three Days of Shooting Sports in the Catholic Parish Center
The kickoff takes place on Thursday, November 19, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. On Friday, November 20, the shooting ranges will be available from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The concluding competition day on Saturday, November 21, runs from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The late purchase ends each time 30 minutes before the regular shooting ends.
Open for Citizens, Clubs, and Guests
Eligible to participate are shooters aged 12 and above who do not belong to a shooting club. Youngsters between 12 and 14 years require a written consent from their parents. The entry fee for adults is 15 euros, while youths born between 2008 and 2014 pay 8 euros. Included are five practice shots, two ten-shot series, and a royal shot. Additional ten-shot series can be purchased for 3 euros each.
Sporting Competition with a Sense of Community
The Citizen Shooting combines the thrill of competition with club life. The focus is not only on target images and results but also on interactions between generations and neighborhoods. The patron is Herrsching's first mayor, Christian Schiller. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the shooting hall.
Conclusion: The Citizen Shooting 2026 offers precise shooting sports, concentrated competition moments, and a sociable stadium atmosphere under one roof. Those who bring a steady hand, a good eye, and joy in sporting comparison will experience three special days full of excitement and tradition in Herrsching.
