When wool, needles, and yarn come together for a cozy gathering, a special event experience emerges at the Starnberg City Library. At the open craft meeting, people who enjoy knitting, crocheting, or embroidery gather and wish to make new connections.

Creative Break in the Reading Café

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the reading café of the city library transforms from 16:00 to 18:00 into an open meeting point for craft fans. The calm atmosphere provides space for focused work, personal conversations, and inspiring ideas. Beginners are just as welcome as experienced craft enthusiasts.

Knitting, Crocheting, Embroidering, and Sharing

The focus is on creative collaboration and easy exchange. Participants are asked to bring their own crafting supplies and materials. This creates a flexible group where each person can work on their own project while benefiting from the experiences of others.

Open to Spontaneous Visitors

No registration is required. Spontaneous visits are also warmly welcomed. The free event is aimed at anyone who enjoys crafting, meeting new people, and a relaxed audience atmosphere.
