A colorful thread, a crochet hook, and many personal ideas: In the family experience Cool Stitches, children aged eight and up discover the creative world of crocheting. Step by step, from individual stitches, a personal project grows – accompanied by children's laughter, amazement, and the lovely feeling of having created something themselves.
Age-appropriate Learning Fun with Wool and Hook
The course teaches the basics of crocheting in a child-friendly and understandable manner. The program includes chain stitches, single crochets, double crochets, as well as increasing and decreasing stitches. This learning experience strengthens concentration, fine motor skills, and perseverance. At the same time, the children experience how small working steps lead to a visible result.
Personal Ideas Become Little Favorite Pieces
Whether it's a loop, phone case, arm warmers, or another creative project: The children bring their wishes and discuss what materials are needed during the first session. Thus, the course combines practical guidance with personal design and promotes the development of self-confidence, patience, and creativity.

The four-part course takes place in the community center in Eching. The dates provide space for focused work, mutual support, and shared time in a friendly learning atmosphere. The course is led by Meike von Arndt.

The first course date is Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Further dates will follow on October 21, November 18, and December 2, 2026. The course fee for all four dates is 45 euros. The course is aimed at children aged eight and up and can be booked.
