Autumn Family Joy at Montessori Starnberg
When chestnuts are collected, children's laughter echoes across the school grounds, and the doors of the school and children's house are open, the autumn festival at Montessori Starnberg becomes a special family experience. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, families will discover a colorful program with climbing walls, chestnut treasures, puppet theater, and culinary offerings from 14:00 to 18:00.
Amazing, playing and discovering together
The children can expect a varied afternoon full of movement, imagination, and nature experiences. At the climbing wall, they can test their skills, while the chestnut treasures invite collection, sorting, and creative exploration. The puppet theater provides child-friendly entertainment and immerses young viewers in a fantastical world.
Insights into the school and children's house
The open house offers interested families the opportunity to get to know the Montessori school and the children's house. Visitors will gain a vivid impression of the educational environment and the Montessori concept. The focus is on individual development, independence, curiosity, and a respectful community.
Families contribute to the festival
The autumn festival is one of the highlights of school life, bringing together students, parents, alumni, and guests. Many program points are co-created by the school community, creating a personal atmosphere where families can converse and enjoy time together.
Educational value and child-friendly experiences
The combination of movement, free exploration, creative play, and communal experiences creates an age-appropriate learning experience. Children can pursue their own interests, gather new impressions, and strengthen their social skills in an open environment. Montessori Starnberg adheres to the fundamental principles of Montessori education and supports children on their individual developmental paths.
Important notes for families
The festival begins at 14:00 and ends at 18:00. Currently, there are several construction sites and closures around the school grounds. Families are requested to park at a distance and plan for travel time. The area near the vocational school on Von-der-Tann-Straße is suggested as a possible parking option.
Conclusion: An autumn afternoon full of learning fun
The autumn festival and the open house combine children's programs, nature, movement, and insights into Montessori education. Families experience children's laughter, a sense of community, and a school that opens its doors to visitors. Those looking for a varied autumn afternoon with child-friendly activities and a personal atmosphere will find shared time with many wonderful discoveries here.
