Simon & Garfunkel classics in a new sound
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Duo Graceland will transform the Schlossberghalle Starnberg into a concert hall full of folk rock, classical sound colors, and timeless melodies. At Simon & Garfunkel Tribute meets Classic, two expressive voices and two guitars meet a string quartet and a band.
Poetic hymns meet orchestrated richness of sound
Thomas Wacker and Thorsten Gary dedicate themselves to the musical spirit of Simon & Garfunkel with great closeness to the original and their own stage signature. Songs like The Sound of Silence, Cecilia, Mrs. Robinson, The Boxer, and Bridge Over Troubled Water receive new sound colors through the combination of folk rock, string arrangements, bass, and drums.
Between soft tones and powerful folk rock
The concert thrives on strong contrasts: Delicate guitar figures and harmonized vocals create intimate moments, while the string quartet and band lead the sound into a broad, almost symphonic dimension. The orchestration combines warmth and dynamics, and the precise interplay ensures an expressive synchronization between voices, string instruments, and rhythm section.
A musical journey through the 1960s and 1970s
Simon & Garfunkel shaped an entire generation with their poetic compositions. Their music combines folk, pop, and rock with sophisticated harmonies and distinctive vocal lines. Duo Graceland picks up this musical history and continues it in a live atmosphere that connects nostalgia, musical expertise, and immediate audience mood.
Live experience in the Schlossberghalle
The concert evening starts at 8:00 PM and is expected to last until 10:20 PM. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Visitors can expect a seated concert experience with fixed seats, familiar classics, and a stage performance that combines intimate acoustics with powerful band energy.
Those who love Simon & Garfunkel and enjoy experiencing folk rock with classical orchestration will find a special concert evening in Starnberg. Secure your seat and experience The Sound of Silence, Mrs. Robinson, and more timeless songs live with Duo Graceland, string quartet, and band.
